The Cambrian International department at Cambrian College assists foreign students with their journey by assisting to recruit students from more than 60 nations and also support foreign students in their transition to Canada and all through their time at Cambrian College.

Awards and Bursaries at Cambrian College
Foreign students are qualified for Awards and Bursaries at Cambrian College in the second semester of school. Awards and Bursaries at Cambrian College may be obtained via academic performance and community involvement and are obtainable in the fall, winter and spring semesters. Entrance awards
Cambrian awards over $150,000 in entrance awards to new incoming scholars. Some awards are on the basis of academic accomplishment, while others are provided on the basis of financial need.
In-school awards
Over $665,000 in awards is given out to scholars every year at Cambrian on the basis of criteria like area of study, academic accomplishment, community participation and financial need.
Eligibility for Awards and Bursaries at Cambrian College
- Candidates for Awards and Bursaries at Cambrian College should have commendable academic performance and community participation.
- Candidates are required to have a minimum secondary school diploma.
- Candidates should submit scores of the following English language adeptness tests:
- IELTS – 6.5
- TOEFL IBT – 84
- TOEFL PBT – 570
- PTE – 62
- CAEL – 70
How to Apply for Awards and Bursaries at Cambrian College
The candidates are required to sign up for an account on the OCAS International Application Service and apply to the Cambrian College via the same or via the MyCambrian. To apply for the award and bursaries, the candidates should apply for it on the MyCambrian.
Award applications are accessible from your myCambrian account after you have enrolled on your program. Awards can be found in the ‘Financing My Education’ section on the Student tab.
Select the “Apply for Scholarships and Bursaries” link to fill out a questionnaire. Once the survey is finished, wait until the next day, go back to your myCambrian account where the system will have filled your account with all the scholarships and bursaries you are qualified for, including any extra criteria needed (like essay/volunteer hours). Make sure to check your account for new scholarships and bursaries published to myCambrian that you may be qualified for, as new awards are frequently being introduced.

Please note: There is more than one closing date for awards all through the Fall and Winter Semesters. The awards panel meets after the award closing date to choose the candidates. Successful applicants are notified by email.
